What does it cost to be a member?
Each week, members pay $8. Additional membership dues are required when the group prepares for the Sweet Regional Adelines contest.

How much time do I have to put in each week?
Members are expected to attend most weekly rehearsals (3 hours on Wednesday night). Extra time is required 5 - 6 times per year when Out of the Blue is preparing for a performance or show. On an individual basis, members are expected to devote an adequate amount of time to learning new songs by listening to their CD/cassette and/or studying their sheet music.

How long does it take to learn a song?
We generally plan to be 'off the music' within 3 - 4 weeks after the first practice. But we generally take another 5 - 6 weeks developing our own interpretation and perfecting the harmony.

Who decides which part I sing?
During the audition the music team will decide which part suits your voice best.

How to join?

We require each applicant to do an audition in front of a panel of the music team. There are several parts to the audition. The applicant must perform one song from our repertoire in a quartet, sing one free-choice song solo, as well as complete a choreographed routine.
